Authors Guideline

International Bulletin of Linguistics and Literature (IBLL)

The International Bulletin of Linguistics and Literature (IBLL) welcomes high-quality submissions that contribute to the scholarly fields of linguistics and literary studies. Authors are advised to follow these guidelines to ensure their submissions align with the journal's standards and editorial processes.


1. Article Types

We accept the following types of submissions:

  • Research Articles: Original studies contributing new knowledge (5,000–8,000 words).
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews of existing literature (4,000–6,000 words).
  • Case Studies: Focused analyses of specific linguistic or literary phenomena (3,000–5,000 words).
  • Theoretical Papers: Explorations of new or existing theories in linguistics or literary studies (5,000–8,000 words).

2. General Formatting

  • Language: Submissions must be in English. Multilingual articles are welcome but must include an abstract in English.
  • File Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
  • Font and Spacing: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced text throughout.
  • Margins: 1-inch margins on all sides.

3. Structure of Manuscripts

Title Page

  • Title of the article (concise and informative).
  • Author(s)' full names, affiliations, and contact information.
  • Acknowledgment of any funding sources, if applicable.

Abstract

  • A 200–300 word summary of the article, outlining the research problem, methodology, results, and significance.

Keywords

  • Provide 4–6 keywords that represent the core topics of the article.

Main Text

  • Introduction: Clearly state the research problem, objectives, and relevance.
  • Methodology (for empirical studies): Describe the methods used.
  • Results and Discussion: Present findings and interpret their implications.
  • Conclusion: Summarize key points and suggest areas for future research.

References

  • Follow the APA 7th Edition citation style.

Figures and Tables

  • Include figures and tables within the manuscript file at appropriate points, with clear captions and labels.
